Kent Adamson

Kent Adamson is a screenwriter, novelist and filmmaker, starting at a very early age with his film, "Bloody Mommy". He has worked on over 100+ features in Hollywood, beginning in the 1970's drive-in movie era and continuing through present day digital cinema. He writes about people he has known, historic Hollywood, cars and other things he loves.

In the documentary format, Kent has shot live music, slam poetry and is currently editing "Ann Savage: Detour 45" about the independent Noir B-Movie classic Detour, which was recently restored by Martin Scorsese's Film Foundation, A.M.P.A.S., and the George Lucas Family Foundation. Detour in 4K is available on DVD and Blu-Ray from The Criterion Collection in March 2019.

Kent has enjoyed a long writing and production based career in commercial cinema and advertising, working with Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., HBO, NBC and many more. He has created successful campaigns such as the award winning "Take Brad Pitt Home" for Sony Pictures and the design/launch of "Blunt World", a 21st Century leisure company. He is based in Los Angeles.
