Alexandra Jordan

Alexandra is an exciting English author whose work includes seven novels and many short stories. Her work covers aspects of romance, crime, magical realism and historical fiction.

The Benjamin Bradstock Tales describe a world of magical realism centred around white witches Enid and Peggy. Benjamin Bradstock himself is a hypnotherapist who specialises in past-life regression, a fascinating subject.

Snowflakes and Apple Blossom was shortlisted for the Writers' Village International Novel Award.

Seasalt and Midnight Brandy has been serialised on BBC Radio.

Once her first trilogy was complete, Alexandra decided to stretch her repertoire. Her first murder mystery, One Tiny Mistake, is set in the beautiful Peak District, an area she loves. A sequel followed, Murder on Her Doorstep. She then released her sixth novel, a standalone magical realism story named The Girl at the Edge of Time.

Alexandra has now released the third April Stanislavski Murder Mystery. Silence on Stanage is the final book of this trilogy.

Alexandra's free time is spent on long walks, lunches with her twin sons, amateur dramatics, yoga, reading, and eating chocolate. The darker, the better.

Alexandra's favourite part of the writing process is the research. She finds it fascinating and really does learn something new every day.
