Mark S. McCaffrey is currently Programs and Policy Director at the National Center for Science Education and a Senior Fellow at the National Council for Science and the Environment. Co-Founder of CLEAN, the Climate Literacy and Energy Awareness Network, and former Associate Scientist at the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Mark also helped lead the development of the Climate and Energy Literacy Frameworks.
He currently resides in Oakland, California with his wife Patricia, three cats and a dog in a one bedroom apartment five minutes from his office.
