Amy Hochstein

Originally from Houston, Texas, Amy made the move to California's Central Coast after a career in advertising. The new environment and landscape inspired her first-published book, "The Circus and the Small, Dusty Town", about four stranded performers and their new life after the circus.

Three other books followed, and today she continues writing and illustrating, as well as promoting her books. This has been the most exciting part of the process, since nothing can match the experience of reading to children and hearing how they respond to the stories and pictures.
