Dr. Patricia Johnson-Laster is a Christian and retired college professor of psychology. She has a master's and a doctorate in psychology as well as a master's degree from seminary. While talking and counseling with students, Dr. Laster began to see that unresolved issues from childhood were persistent stumbling blocks to personal, as well as Christian, growth. She searched the literature for a resource to help those whom she counseled and found lots of material with a strong psychological base but void of Christian thought. She also found a lot of material written from the Christian perspective but without any psychological input. So, as a Christian and a psychologist, Dr. Laster wrote a workbook that incorporated both psychological and Biblical insight. ALL I'M CREATED TO BE SET FREE! is the final result and is an intense psychologically-and Biblically-based activities book which can be used alone, with a counselor, or in a group setting to overcome these issues and build confidence. It has gone through 3 editions. The first edition, Free to Be Me, was a simple devotional book. The second edition, Free to Be God's Child, was rushed by deadlines and released before it was ready. Finally, the third and last edition, All I'm Created to Be Set Free, was updated with relevant and new information and published. A winner of two awards, this workbook is a powerful tool to help you resolve issues from your childhood, develop self-confidence, and grow spiritually. It is also an excellent resource for pastors, Christian counselors, life coaches, and Bible study group leaders

PERSONAL BELIEFS:
I believe
1.there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
2.in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, and in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood. I also believe in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to earth some day to rule over the earth.
3.salvation is by grace through faith in Christ as one's Savior.
4.that all psychological principles should be thoroughly evaluated through the grid of Scripture and that Scripture always holds the final authority. I do not harbor any beliefs or suggest any therapeutic techniques that would violate the principles of Scripture.
