Gerald D. Facciani is past President of The American Society of Pension Actuaries, as well as a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He has testified numerous times before Congress and has been a keynote speaker at many conferences worldwide. He founded and built an actuarial consulting firm in Ohio and Nevada, which was sold to a public company in 1991. He has dedicated much of his time since then working on behalf of various not-for-profit organizations, as well as researching issues related to wellness, longevity and mortality. He is a native Californian and a graduate of Carleton College in Minnesota. In 2010 he matriculated at Yale Divinity School, where he earned a Masters degree in Religion. He is a 25-year resident of Southern Nevada.
