Tinaz Pavri

Tinaz Pavri was born in Mumbai, India and came to the U.S. to pursue her graduate studies. She is a professor of Political Science at Spelman College, Atlanta, where she also directs the Asian Studies program. Her areas of expertise include global security, conflict resolution and international political economy but literature and writing were always her first love. Her memoir, Bombay in the Age of Disco: City, Community, Life, brings together her intertwined interests in literature and social science. She lives in Atlanta with her family.
