Petra Sammer

Petra Sammer spent 25 years as a Global Partner at the international agency network Ketchum, where, as Chief Creative Officer, she led the strategic and creative direction of the agency across Europe and Germany.

Today, through her own consultancy, pssst…, she advises companies and brands on public relations, marketing, and corporate communications. Sammer sees herself as a source of inspiration for her clients and their teams. She has received numerous awards for creative communication campaigns—including the PR Report Award, SABRE Awards, and the European Excellence Award—and has served for several years as a juror for leading international competitions such as the Cannes Lions, Eurobest Awards, and the D&AD Awards, among others.

Before beginning her professional career, she studied film studies and German literature, as well as economics and political science. Petra Sammer is married to a partner who shares her passion for safaris and wildlife observation, and she lives in what she considers the most beautiful city in the world: Munich.
