We designed this book for those looking for practical yet academically informed methods for inspecting and regulation. We examine in detail the stages of an inspection. It is not necessary for you to slavishly follow these ideas. Each stage is meant to inform and inspire the methodology you use for your inspections. At the end of the day inspection (for us) is about improvement for those who use regulated goods and services.

John has worked closely with a number of regulation agencies on methodology and impact.
