I began writing late in life; it had always been a dream of mine to become a writer and when the opportunity arose i took it. Having written my first book I was unable to find a UK publisher, but I was successful in finding one in America. All my early work was published in the USA and for a few years we enjoyed working together. However Fate had other ideas for me and when i lost my first I put down my pen, i thought forever. Then another chance was given to me when I met and married my second wife Susan., who once more persuaded me to pick up my pen again.

This is my second book with Austin Macauley and is in some respects loosely based on my life with my first wife. However as the story has had names, places and events added and changed it now has to be classed as fiction, The main character Patricia was a real person, but the other characters have had their identity changed for their privacy. It is a sad story but it has a happy ending when her husband finally finds another lady to love after losing his first wife. I am currently writing the sequel which tells of the happiness that her husband finally finds, but it is far from finished.
