Winifred Branch

Born and raised in Washington DC, Winifred is the youngest of seven children. At age 30 she enrolled in Cosmetology School and became a successful entrepreneur as a salon owner of Winnie & Company LLC. The hair salon specializes in all phases of hair care. Additionally, during (1993)- (2009, Winifred developed a mentoring program that offered basic grooming and hair care techniques to elementary-age students.

She sustained her mentoring program and partnered up with Prince George County Public Schools alongside, Montgomery County Public Schools,, to provide job training to teens in the early release work program. That program produced several successful cosmetologists. Winifred has been a Missionary for over 25 years and loves volunteering. She has been serving her community since high school. A failed marriage and horrible divorce led her to not only become an author but also a college graduate with several degrees.
