Diane Goold is a new author, publishing her first book "Diane's Daily Devotions" 2014 followed by "Treasured Words of God" in 2015. Her newest and first children's book "Frolicking Farmyard Friends" published in 2020. Diane plans on publishing a series of Farmyard Friends books in the near future.
She lives in St. Joseph, MO with her husband of 50 years, Clarence. They have one daughter Shelly Hartl and two grandsons, Carver and Harrison.
Diane earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO in 1996 at the age of 45 years! Her teaching career led her to become the Newspaper In Education program director at the St. Joseph News-Press in St. Joseph, Mo, a position she recently retired from.
She's a self-taught pianist, ordained Elder in the Community of Christ, an active member of the Sigma Tau chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha international philanthropic organization and enjoys writing both prose and poetry in her spare time.
