Elma Gabriel-Mayers

An individual whose determination to help the disadvantaged is second to none. A passion for supporting the underprivileged, a revered Community Worker and Social Advocate, an Esthetician, Beauty and Fashion Consultant, a Business Manager, the Author of "Standing Tall in Echoes of Destiny", a Poet and an accomplished community Event Coordinator. Such a professional mix allows her the opportunity to transcend many boundaries in providing hope and encouragement that benefit the community. In fact, her hobby as a poet enables her to stand up as an inspiration and shining example of eloquence not only to other adults but also, to youth of all races and cultures.

Her professional and community accomplishments includes award of recognitions from many organizations and the editor’s Choice Award for outstanding achievement in Poetry from the international Library of Poetry.

Worked for several years in various positions with Universities and Colleges. For her latter 20 years, she worked with one of Canada’s largest Financial Institutions in various managerial positions, retired as a Senior Business Analysis in the area of systems and technology. A Mother and a Woman with a Purpose. If you ask her about her purpose in life she will reply, “Now ….. That is all I have within my control ….. I pray God’s willing for Tomorrow.”
