Joel Reitman

Joel Reitman was born in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in sunny Southern California during the days of drive-ins and hot rods. After earning a degree in design from the University of Cincinnati he returned to New York, where he taught art and special education. He turned to journalism working for two weekly newspapers. He entered the world of sports car racing at Bridgehsmpton Race Circuit.

He and his wife, Anne, life on the eastern end of Long Island with their 4th dog, Bailey. Throughout his life, Joel never lost his love for baseball and his fond memories of Brooklyn and his beloved Dodgers.
