Erna Perry

As I tell in my memoir, I was born in Poland, in a city called Lwow (now in Ukraine, and called Lviv), in 1936. This was a bad year for the world, and especially for Europe. Three years later World War II broke out, and the troubles began for all Europeans, but especially for European Jews. My memoir tells of the events of the Holocaust for me and my family as we tried to save our lives. Not all of us succeeded. My father did not make it alive, but he planned for me and my mother to survive, and we did.
