Toby Travis

Dr. Toby A. Travis is the founder of TrustED®, a framework for school improvement centered on developing trusted leaders and mission-honoring cultures of excellence. His research on trust-based leadership forms the foundation of the TrustED® School Leader 360 Assessment, a tool used by schools worldwide to evaluate and strengthen leadership effectiveness through measurable, evidence-based practices.

A veteran international and Christian school educator, Dr. Travis has served as a teacher, principal, and head of school in both U.S. and international PS–12 schools. Since 2017 he has served as an Executive Consultant with The Global School Consulting Group, providing leadership training, accreditation support, and strategic guidance to international, charter, independent and faith-based schools across the globe.

Dr. Travis is also a long-time member and trainer with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), having led workshops and accreditation reviews for schools throughout North, Central, and South America. His insights have been featured in Forbes, CEOWorld Magazine, K12 Digest, eSchool News, and Authority Magazine, as well as on numerous educational leadership podcasts.

He was named by Elite Education Magazine as one of the “Top 10 Influential Education Leaders of 2025.” Dr. Travis’s passion is to equip school leaders to build high-trust environments where both mission and learning flourish.
