Claire Casey

Claire Casey a re-enactor, and a former archaeologist. She also happens to be a author. Since graduating from the University of Glasgow, with a MA(hons) in Archaeology and Scottish Literature, and a MLitt in Battlefield and Conflict Archaeology, Claire has worked on a number of archaeological sites, including a Neolithic settlement site in Orkney.

Her books range from poetry collections, to books of short stories and flash fiction. She has also published Ravensrise and Raven's Fall, which are the first and second novel in her Ravensrise Trilogy. She is currently working on the third book in the trilogy.

Claire finds inspiration in Scottish and Norse mythology, as well as in history.
