Kris Taylor

Kris Taylor is the founder of Evergreen Leadership (EvergreenLeadership. com) and cofounder of LEAP (LeapRightNow.biz). Her many years of work experience are rich in variety. She worked for ten years in education and nonprofit fields before making a career change to RR Donnelley, a Fortune 200 company. During her 14-year tenure at RR Donnelley, she fulfilled a variety of roles in departments ranging from human resources and operations to a corporate position in learning and development. In 2004, Kris went out on her own and has been a successful independent consultant consistently, earning over $100K per year. Her initial consulting endeavor partnered with clients to create customized leadership development programs and was rebranded in 2011 as Evergreen Leadership. Her firm specializes in fostering skills in agility, collaboration, relationship building, accountability, and creativity. She writes, speaks, teaches, and coaches leaders at all levels, from C-suite to high-potential emerging leaders. In total, Kris has worked with over 60 organizations, from small entrepreneurial firms to Fortune 100 organizations. Kris has also been on the faculty of Purdue’s Certificate Program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation where she developed and taught a

course on consulting and a course entitled Your Entrepreneurial Career. It was there that she met Katie McNamee. She so enjoyed helping Katie start her independent consulting firm, Elevate Online, that they decided to share what they had learned with others. They cofounded LEAP together in 2017 to coach other professionals considering, launching, or growing small independent consulting practices by providing practical guidance and support through coaching services and learning programs. Kris is the author of "The Leader’s Guide to Turbulent Times: A Prac cal, Easyto-Use Guide to Leading in Today’s Times". She earned her undergraduate degree at West Virginia University and an MBA from Krannert Business School at Purdue University.
