Dr Peter Simpson is a 'reflective practitioner' - theorizing from his experience of practising leadership and working in groups and organisations. He has spent most of his career as a lecturer, manager and consultant at Bristol Business School, UK, where he is Associate Professor in Organisation Studies. His ideas resonate strongly with literatures on leadership practice, contemplative spirituality, psychodynamics and process complexity. He has published extensively in academic journals on leadership education and development, strategic and cultural change, and the challenges of management in conditions of uncertainty. Consultancy and research contracts have included working with senior management teams on the leadership of strategic change.
