Victoria Khiterer

Victoria Khiterer was born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine. She received her Ph.D. in Russian Jewish History from the Russian State University in Humanities in Moscow in 1996. She came to the US in 1999 and received her second Ph.D. in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University in 2008. She is is an Associate Professor of History and Director of the Conference on the Holocaust and Genocide at Millersville University, Pennsylvania. She is author and editor of five books and over eighty articles in Russian and Eastern European Jewish History.
