Suzy Harrison Ward is no stranger to the ocean, having been dipped into the waters of Lake Michigan before she could even walk. She was like a little mermaid, and went on to be a National Intercollegiate Synchronized Swimming champion with the University of Michigan competitive team between 1965 and 1969. She since has competed in Masters Synchronized Swimming as well, with her duet partner from college.
The tales that you read in her children's book Sea Salt can be shared with your children, grandchildren or to enjoy yourself. Inspiration came from the author's love and respect for our grand bodies of water throughout our planet.
The other three books were all inspired from Suzy Harrison Ward's life experiences, jotted down in a format of fact, fiction and good humor. Having grown up in the Midwest, her core values shine in the characters themselves. Please enjoy, and perhaps you will see yourself in one or more presentation; it certainly makes for exciting reading when you discover yourself actually in the story.
