Bruce Benedict

The Sunday School Bible (SSB) was founded by Bruce Benedict with one clear purpose: to help every reader—children, teens, adults, Sunday School teachers, and lifelong students—experience God's Word without frustration or fatigue.

Bruce brings over two decades of disciplined, God-fearing service to this ministry, having served his country for 21 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Major, and continuing that service as a Senior Civilian with the U.S. federal government. His service took him around the world—including postings in Panama, Japan, and Germany, and deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, and Qatar—giving him a deep love of country and a firsthand appreciation for how believers across many nations and cultures hold fast to God's Word. That same discipline and care now goes into every page of this ministry—because Scripture deserves nothing less than precision and reverence.
