Terri Bourus

Terri Bourus is Professor of Early Modern Theatre at Florida State University where she teaches the staging and acting techniques essential to putting the drama of Shakespeare and his contemporaries on stage: this includes Original Stage Practices and dramaturgy. She is one of four General Editors of the "New Oxford Shakespeare" where her work covers much of the performance aspects of the edition. She is co-author of "The Creation and Re-Creation of Cardenio". Her most recent monograph, "Young Shakespeare's Young Hamlet" (2014) delves into the textual and performance quandaries of the First Quarto (Q1) of "Hamlet". Dr. Bourus is an equity actor and director.
