M.E. Sanchez

Sanchez was born in Los Angeles, California. By the time she was six years old she and her family left Los Angeles and moved to the country. Living in the wide open spaces of Simi Valley brought a whole new dimension to her life, cultivating a new and growing love for planet Earth.

After graduating high school Sanchez married and became mother to four children, all of whom she successfully represented in Hollywood where she worked as set mother and talent agent. Her passion for reading, her imagination, and her education and training as a minister in later life, inspired her original ‘recipes’ for stories; stories for children, stories with morals, stories with decipherable lessons on life. Her love of Earth, her faith in humankind, and her desire to realize a peaceful, healthy planet has been the motivation behind her stories.

Sanchez’s heartfelt goal is to motivate children to find and keep their imagination alive. Imagination is something precious; a wonderful gift we are born with. However, and unfortunately, it can dissipate over the years as rules, and sometimes ridicule, dampens its fires. Listening ears and eager eyes can give birth to wonder, hope, compassion, as well as academic abilities.

It is Sanchez’s hope that you and your child(ren) will enjoy the adventures of the many characters who live in her stories, and that you will come away with a happy heart and an increased awareness of the need to hold fast to your dreams; to use your gift of imagination to visualize and, therefore, manifest a happy, healthy planet.
