Johnny R. Williamson

Johnny R. Williamson is a martial arts instructor, educator, speaker, and author with more than four decades of experience helping children, teens, and adults develop confidence, character, leadership, and personal safety skills.

A veteran of the United States military, former law enforcement officer, college professor, and business owner, Williamson has dedicated much of his career to teaching practical self-defense, bullying prevention, and personal development. He is the founder and Chief Instructor of Starworld Martial Arts Academy and the founder of a nonprofit organization dedicated to training instructors and educators in effective anti-bullying strategies.

Over the course of his career, Williamson has trained thousands of students and developed programs that combine traditional martial arts values with practical life skills, leadership development, and personal protection. His work emphasizes building confidence, resilience, respect, and character both inside and outside the training hall.

Through his books, courses, and presentations, Williamson provides parents, educators, coaches, and martial arts instructors with practical tools to help young people build self-esteem, overcome bullying, develop resilience, and become confident leaders.

When he is not teaching, writing, or speaking, Williamson continues to support youth development programs and works with communities across the country to promote safer schools, stronger families, and positive character development.
