Giles Stevens

Originally from the UK, Giles Stevens is an evangelist and serves as a leader in a team of pastors that oversee The Vine Church International, a network of over 1300 churches and more than 350,000 members. In his role as a healing evangelist he equips local churches by mentoring leaders, training believers and holding Gospel Crusades.

His studies at as an undergraduate at Oxford University and subsequent career in finance in Hong Kong left him empty and searching until he heard the Gospel whilst doing business in Australia. Soon later he left all behind to become a missionary on the remote islands of the Philippines, going to places where nobody had preached before and where westerners had never been seen. Town-squares packed out to hear his preaching, which was always accompanied by miracles and manifestations of the Holy Spirit.

Since these early days Giles has held campaigns in many countries in Asia, Africa, and Europe. After marrying Brazilian missionary, Silvia Soares, he relocated to South America and joined The Vine Church International, a fast-growing network of churches made up of thousands of cell groups.
