Yolanda Carlessi (editor) was born in Huancayo, Peru. She holds a degree in Art with a specialization in Graphic Design from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. She has developed her professional career independently, participating in editorial design projects such as annual reports, brochures, catalogs, posters, and books for prestigious organizations and institutions in Lima. Her work for Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) stands out, an institution for which she worked for 28 years, designing various graphic pieces, including the books in the Arte y Tesoros del Perú (Art and Treasures of Peru) collection, BCP's publishing imprint. She began her work as an editor in 2009 with the book Ayacucho, by Mervyn Samuel, for which she also took many of the photographs. Since 2013, she has published non-fiction books on Amazon by academic and professional authors with the aim of promoting education and disseminating the culture of Peru and the Andean region. Her publications are available in various formats: print books, Kindle ebooks, and audiobooks, in both Spanish and English. Yolanda is passionate about photography and enjoys traveling. She is also deeply interested in music, film, and cultural television programs related to folklore, history, science, animals, and the humanities.
