Brit Morin is the founder & CEO of Brit + Co, an online platform that provides tools to teach, inspire and enable creativity among women and girls. From traditional crafts to high-tech manufacturing, Brit + Co connects millions of users with makers, designers, chefs, and inventors, together in one place.
Brit has had the opportunity to partner with like-minded brands in the maker/DIY space, including companies like Target, 3M, Home Depot and Velcro. When she’s not coming up with inventive ideas to share with her fellow makers, Brit can be seen on the TODAY Show as a regular DIY and lifestyle contributor. She has also been a contributor for Katie Couric, CNN, Yahoo, and the Huffington Post.
Prior to founding Brit + Co in late 2011, Brit worked for Google, where she spent four years helping to launch and grow products like Google TV, Google Maps, Google Search and iGoogle. Before Google, she was at Apple, working with iTunes. Brit currently serves as an advisor and investor in several technology startups. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and currently lives in the Bay Area with her husband, Dave; son, Ansel; and dog, Pixel.
