Margaret, a former IT consultant, is now a historical novelist. She loves living in Bath, England, and derives her joie de vivre playing with her grandchildren, researching family history, writing and travelling.

Margaret, studied her family history, after her mother died, in 2008. The archives revealed an unusual story about her German émigré family. Margaret's books, based on her ancestor's historical records, are woven with the social and economic history of the time.

Her style of writing mashes the genre. She mixes Memoir with Historical Novel, heavily dashed with Family Saga. Her works are a unique insight into lives lived through a traumatic epoch.
