J Brook

John M Brook was born in Hertfordshire in 1947, the son of a schoolmaster. He was privileged to attend the finest boarding schools in England but this didn’t really help. Electing to study Science as opposed to Arts at the age of fourteen, his understanding of English remained rudimentary until fairly recently when working on Congo Cabbage, based on his experiences in Africa, opened the door to literary excellence, well, competence – or maybe just endeavor . . . . Whichever way, the book has attracted good reviews on Amazon. Very funny! All agree.

Realizing that because self-published books are not available for sale in bookshops and that only friends and some of their friends would read Congo Cabbage, he immediately decided to write a second book which might be a sequel to Congo Cabbage or something entirely different - but safe in the knowledge that very few people will ever know!
