Juliet Freyermuth

Juliet Freyermuth writes supernatural murder mysteries series: The Sundancer Mysteries with her husband, Brian Freyermuth, design director at Steel Wool Studios.

She grew up reading Agatha Christie and Stephen King novels. Brian grew up reading J.R. Tolkien and Dean Koontz. Together they created a world where the supernatural's abilities are based on popular belief and the Watchers keep the general population unaware of the magical underworld around them.

There is one person the supernatural can turn to for help: Nick St. James, a former PI who is part Lakota, part something... other.

Juliet was instrumental in the publishing of the first novel in The Sundancer Mysteries, Demon Dance. After having three people say that Brian should self-publish the book, Juliet took over figuring out exactly how to do that. She learned about editing, marketing, hiring cover artists, and everything else that goes into publishing.

She wrote Mind of the Beast with Brian and is finishing the third book in the series, Witch Fire. Now that she’s a coauthor of the series, she uses her degrees in psychology and social and behavioral science to figure out how goddesses, vampires, and other mythological creatures survive in a reality that changes based on prevailing beliefs.
