Kathryn Parker Boudett

Kathryn Parker Boudett is Senior Lecturer on Education and Executive Director of the Data Wise Project at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she supports educators in collaborating so that each student thrives. Kathy teaches degree-program and professional learning courses focused on the skills and habits of mind essential to improving learning and teaching (and does her best to ensure that every class she teaches and meeting she runs is as wise as it can be!).

One way that Kathy lives her belief that collaboration makes everything better is that she always writes with colleagues. Books she has coedited or coauthored include Data Wise: Educators Collaborating So Each Learner Thrives (2025, 2013, 2005), System Wise: Continuous Instructional Improvement at Scale (2024) and Meeting Wise: Making the Most of Collaborative Time for Educators (2014).

Kathy holds a PhD in Public Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and a BA in Economics from Yale University.
