Peter Howson

Peter Howson in a Methodist Minister. For 25 years he was a chaplain in the British army seeing service in Germany, Cyprus, Hong Kong and Belize as well as visiting over 20 other countries. Now living close to Salisbury Plain he was written books on military chaplaincy, and most recently on the relationship between Britain and the German churches in the immediate aftermath of World War Two. In addition to his books he has contributed to several edited collections of essays. For some years he was the Secretary of the Society for Army Historical Research. He delivered one of the keynote speeches in the Centernary lecture series.
