When she's not writing out in her studio in the garden, J.L. Starr can be found walking the dogs or lounging among the plants. She lives in the country with her husband, who fortunately loves to cook and garden.

Having spent the first 35 years of her life in the city, Starr finds the peace and solitude of the country to be the perfect place to bring the stories and characters in her mind to life.
