David Calder

I'm an American-Kiwi writer of five books in the Action-Adventure, Military/Political-Thriller, Poetry and Short Story genres. My background includes an early rock-music career followed by NZ Army service during the Vietnam era, before attending Auckland University. While at university I spent time at Princeton and later Pasadena City College. After immigrating to the U.S. at the start of the '80s, I had careers in the Los Angeles automotive, and L.A. and Seattle computer/software industries, before becoming a full-time author. I make my home in New Zealand's beautiful Waitakere Ranges, where I love to travel, hunt, and fish, and still spend as much time as I can in my beloved U.S.A.
