L. Michele

L. Michele, a Miami Florida native has been writing for over 20 years. She received her first copyright in 1996, for a series of Children’s Stories that she had won several literary awards for in middle school and High School. Upon completing high school and giving birth to her son, she went on to college to become a Crime Scene Investigator. She worked for different law enforcement agencies in the Miami area, until she decided to pursue her passion for writing and poetry, which was inspired by her many experiences in the crime scene investigation field.

L.Michele is also a host of an open mic poetry venue Majestical Lips, located in the Miami design district. She has been sharing her passion of poetry and entertaining with Majestical Lips since 2012. In May of 2013, L.Michele released her first poetry album entitled Some Chic’s Poetry, which is available on ITunes, Amazon, and Google Play. This albumn allows you to hear her sultry voice as she recites “He was younger than me” and ”The way I feel about chocolate”.
