Shauna Shapiro Jackson

SHAUNA SHAPIRO JACKSON is an award winning worldwide producer and distributor of feature films and television. As co-founder and Executive Vice President of The SC Group of Companies (made up of Showcase Entertainment, Showcase For Kids, and SC Global Media), she has produced and/or distributed over two hundred films with talent such as Ben Affleck, Tobey Maguire, John Malkovich, Hilary Swank, Debra Messing, Kiefer Sutherland, Sean Penn, Matt LeBlanc, Colin Firth, Lorraine Bracco, Robert Downey, Jr., and more. She also produced the international hit children’s television series “Flight 29 Down,” with Discovery Kids that aired on NBC, “Ape Escape” based on the Sony PlayStation Game for NickToons, and "You May Not Kiss the Bride" starring Katharine McPhee, Rob Schneider, Mena Suvari, Dave Annable, and Kathy Bates.

Her worldwide licensees include Columbia/Tristar, Disney/Buena Vista, MGM, New Line, Lionsgate, HBO, Showtime, Sony Pictures Television, Lifetime, Oxygen, Starz, Village Roadshow, Endemol,

Shapiro Jackson was previously the co-founder of Curb/Esquire Films (currently Curb Communications) with partners David Jackson and music giant Mike Curb, where she also served as Executive Vice President. In addition, Shapiro Jackson served as Vice President Production and Acquisitions of Curb/Musifilm whose partners included Universal Pictures, and who developed and co-produced the acclaimed "sex, lies and videotape." Shapiro Jackson initially produced several films for RCA/Columbia with Morgan Mason ("sex, lies and videotape"), John Hardy ("Ocean's Eleven," "Erin Brockovich") & Jason Clark ("Ted," "Stuart Little").

Shapiro Jackson is also an entertainment attorney and has written lyrics to several theme and end title credit songs including “Beautiful Stranger,” which she co-wrote with American Idol alum and “Smash” star Katharine McPhee.
