Jennifer Deese

Jennifer Deese was born in Delaware but now resides in Eastern PA. In writing she has found her voice and platform. The Orchid Keeper is Ms Deese's debut novelette and is the first book in what she calls her serial series. She plans on continuing to write and is currently working on book two of The Osipian Stories as well as an anthology of her horror and fantasy short stories.

In

2015 she was invited to collaborate with the Awethors on an anthology and the end result was a delightfully twisted collection of dark December themed shorts. The December Awethology: Dark Volume was published in Dec. 2015 and won 3rd place in anthologies. Honored to have her story , Jingle Jars featured she looks forward to the next joint effort with this talented group of authors from around the globe.

Currently working on book two , The Fading Light, Ms. Deese is thrilled that book 1, The Orchid Keeper has been nominated for 2016 best short story/novella. Aiming to have book 2, done by the end of January 2016 she is happy to announce that it will bring to the reader not only a longer storyline, but more characters, more Osipian history, a love story, a war, and more battles against addiction. Not originally intended to be very much longer than the first book she has found that the story has taken on a life of its own and evolved beyond her original outlines.
