Greetings readers and prospective readers:

After several years in retirement, focused on traveling, I found my new passion--writing fiction. I thrive on the creative process of crafting the right words to bring my stories and characters and settings alive for the reader.

My first novel, THE LAST RAVEN, features hero Sin Austen caught up in murder and mayhem on the shores of Lake Keowee in South Carolina. The story is drawn from actual historical events. The sequel, DEVIL FEATHER, follows the mysterious sabotage surrounding a major construction project. Sin Austen and his hand-picked team from Ironsides Security must identify and confront the perpetrators.

LEGACY ISLAND is the fictional account of a criminal family building and defending their smuggling empire. The Savage clan operate out of their private island off the west coast of Florida. Time period: 1917-1957.

ROAD TRIP BLUES is a novel about the bucket list road trip of two buddies traveling through the Mississippi Delta in a restored Mustang GT350. They encounter danger as well as romance on a search for blues history and the South’s best chili dog.

Other interests: reading, photography, and traveling. Big fan of dark roast coffee, small-batch bourbon, Schnauzers and Porsches.
