Ezra E Manes

The author continues donating book sales proceeds to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and The American Cancer Society. Ezra enjoyed a very rewarding U.S. Navy career in service to his country that spanned almost twenty-three years. He earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He was a Program Director for design and development of numerous advanced digital image and signal processing systems for Raytheon E-Systems for a decade and a half. He has written numerous science fiction novels, fiction stories, and non-fiction articles. Singing Silently is his first book of poems published for public release, although writing poems has been a passion of his for several decades. Ezra and his wife Jan reside on their Ozark farm near Thayer, Missouri, where he continues writing while maintaining a farm to provide wildlife habitat and a place for family to enjoy getting close to nature. He was a registered Professional Engineer for many years before his early retirement.
