Leta Serafim

Acclaimed writer, novelist, and playwright Leta Serafim has had a long and storied career in a world of words. She was a journalist at the Los Angeles Times Washington Bureau before moving to Greece, where she taught art and illustrated books. Upon her return to the United States, she wrote feature stories for the Boston Globe before trying her hand at fiction, leading to her Greek Islands Mystery series, which has captivated readers and mystery fans worldwide. In addition to the five books in her Greek Islands Mysteries, she is the author of the historical novel To Look on Death No More, the children's book Molly Saw a Bear, and the new play Requiem, a two-act drama about Russian poet Anna Akhmatova. Her work has been hailed by critics and called "fast-paced" and "delightful" by Mary Daheim of The New York Times. She teaches creative writing in the Boston area and continues to spend her summers in Greece.
