Shawn Francis

Two novels I could never get published, THAT WHICH LIES UPON and DRAWING FLIES, have been separated into 3 volumes for each. Both were written in the early to mid-2000s.

REE GRETT is another self-published tale. Wrote it last summer (i.e.summer 2015).

OTHER NATURE is a sequel/next chapter to my short erotic tale, THE WOODWALKERS, which is now out of print I believe as a paperback but can still be bought digitally on the net.

The short story, DEATH OF A HOUSE FLY, from a short story collection (DEVIANT BEINGS) I could get never get published is included in Volume 2 of Bloodshot Books' anthology NOT YOUR AVERAGE MONSTER. The DEVIANT BEINGS collection consisted of THE GUTTER, DEATH OF A HOUSE FLY, THE HUSK, THE INHABITANT and WARHEAD. All were tenuously connected in a Stephen King IT-ish kind of way in that the surviving kids from each tale were to be the grown ups in third novel I had planned. I don't care much for THE INHABITANT or THE HUSK, but I do love the others, with THE GUTTER being my favorite. Hoping to one day get them into the public eye too.

I'm currently finishing up a tale tentatively titled, THE BLACK BIOLOGY OF LUSTFUL BEASTS. Well, it's either going to be titled that or ABORTIONS OF NATURE. Haven't decided yet.
