Fran Clark, a native Houstonian with a degree in Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, has built a career rooted in advocacy and compassion. From protecting children at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services to championing patients’ rights at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Fran’s dedication to others defines her work. As a Criminal Court Advocate for the Children’s Advocacy Center, she prepared child victims for testimony, an experience that inspired her debut novel, The Meeting on the Moon.
