Chelsen Vicari

Chelsen Vicari Smith is a Christian, wife, and mother of two young children. It was for her babies that she created the "Zion the Lion and Ewe" series. She wanted lovable characters who would both engage her children's imaginations while also reflecting our glorious Savior's love and faithfulness.

Her background includes spending her twenties running around Washington, D.C. advocating for the sanctity of human life, religious liberty, and traditional biblical values. She previously served the Institute on Religion & Democracy as the Evangelical Programs Director. Before that, she worked for Concerned Women for America. She is a speaker, published author, and has contributed to numerous magazines and online outlets.

Chelsen loves theology and is currently studying Christian Ministry via Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

She co-leads the children's ministry at her local church and serves as a Sunday school teacher.

She owns a cat named Peaches.
