Having plenty of 'life experience' to pass on, and always seeing the positive in situations, I feel privileged to be able to take time out from the rat race and begin my writing career.

After leaving school and joining the Royal Navy for four years (what a great period that was) I settled into family life, gave birth to two children - by ceasaerian section (more pleasant than all that legs up in the air business) - then worked in several professions until I fell into the amazing world of Social/Direct selling.

After more than twenty years in this business(by now my children had left home, and grandchildren - unexected but glorious additions to my life - were on the scene)I left the UK to travel Europe in a ...caravan! Of course, my husband, Tom, and two Parson Russel Terriers - (read surrogate children) - accompanied me. Yes, the fashion concious, well groomed, Leigh took off resembling a gypsy...... and feeling very excited about the concept.

During the last year and a bit I have written two books on Social/Direct Selling, have blogged our travels (well one of the dogs has blogged), have spent hours studying for a degree in English Language and Literature (hard going so far but determined to finish it), and have part written four other books which I will publish in 2015.And my friends thought I might get bored..................!
