Mina Jean-Pierre

Mina Jean-Pierre was born in Haiti and came to the states at a young age. Having been brought up as a product of her environment, she often questioned some of the injustices not only around her but also the ones she was a victim to herself. Not knowing her father because of his death after her birth and with no photos of him, she often struggled with her own identity. After several identity crises and deadly choices, Mina finally decided to change her life and instead of being a victim of her environment, became a success.
