I am the youngest of five children who grew up on the South Side of Chicago. I attended Catholic schools my whole life. I have a Bachelors degree in Communications from Governors State University. I am working on my Masters degree in Business Public Administration and I plan to publish a second book. I am the father of three children and I am a widower who lost my first wife to breast cancer. I obtained colorectal cancer in 2006, testicular cancer in 2010, it reoccurred again in 2012 and I am currently battling it again (2014). I love sports and have played, coached and mentored for many years. I am an avid golfer and I used to play 16" softball (keeping my Chicago roots intact). I love to cook, talk, watch Chicago Bears, Chicago White Sox, golf, read periodicals and listen to music. I am currently married.
