About Joan M. Blake

I am married to Carl, and together we are the proud parents of four adults. I am a Christian author, podcaster, speaker, and Spiritual-life coach with a passion for helping women reach their greatest potential and discover their God given purpose. I hold a BSc and MBA in Business, as well as an MA in Urban and Women’s Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where I received the prestigious Robert J. Lamont Award for Academic Excellence.

Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, I later sponsored my parents and family to join me in the United States. My life’s mission is to help others overcome adversity through faith, encouragement, and practical tools.

I have mentored women in ministry, taught at the college level, and founded a nonprofit organization that offers community breakfasts, prayer, and life-skills workshops. I have also led book talks, women retreats, and healing workshops at libraries and churches.

As the host of Insights on Healing Podcast, I share biblical wisdom, spiritual truths, and personal encouragement to guide others on their journey through emotional and spiritual healing.

My latest book, Standing on His Promises: Then and Now, is a heartfelt memoir chronicling my journey of faith, perseverance, and purpose.
