Rickie D. Maness

Rickie D. Maness retired from the Department of Homeland Security with previous experience as a State/Local Police Officer. He was born in North Carolina but grew up on the Jersey Shore. After a tour of duty in the United States Navy during Viet Nam, he relocated to Florida, completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of South Florida and obtained his Master's Degree from Hodges University. Always interested in writing he authored "When It's Time", a poetic and true love story about his wife of 14 years. Rickie says, "I wanted people to know the true Karen that I grew to love and the compassionate Karen that everyone else loved. I hope that anyone who reads this book can feel the genuine love that Karen and I shared, and one that will last forever."
