Hello there! I very excited to add my second book The SNAFU Principle to the offering at Amazon.

The SNAFU Principle:

This is an incredibly practical book. I don't know about you, but I am tired of reading books that tell you the "WHAT" of other people and companies. Yeah they tell you what a leader is, what Google did etc etc blah blah blah. Don't they realize that understanding the "what" isn't good enough?! What we really need is a practical book that goes beyond the "What" into the "HOW?".

Couple this with the realization that many business professionals don't invest their time in developing their communication skills in an intentional way and boom you have the need for a practical book on improving your communication skills. Communication isn't a soft skill by the way, whoever said that just doesn't get it! Communication is THE most important skill you can develop. I don't pull any punches in this book, if you have screwed up in your communication you have hurt people and probably are getting mediocre results. It really doesn't have to be this way. Read this book apply the "how to" lessons and you can create better outcomes in leadership and life!

The First Questions:

This book is designed as a workbook. It is a coach in a paperback. Take the time to answer the questions I ask in each chapter and you will learn much about yourself as a leader in the process. I hope that you enjoy this work.

Since writing this book I have gotten a bit of feedback on it. The most consistent question relates to my credentials in writing it. Up until 2011 I performed in a number of management roles in manufacturing in the US and Canada. My last position Plant Manager of a Southern California plant taught me so much about effective leadership. I was being interviewed for VP positions when I decided to take the leaders path and build my own company from nothing in early 2011. So I have been there, led that. I also completed a Masters of Science in leadership and a Masters of Business Administration while working in manufacturing. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Human and Organizational Systems at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara CA in my spare time while building my company Developing Leaders Inc...

BTW some people like signed copies of a book. If you do (and you bought either of the paperbacks:) let me know I will see about getting it signed for you...
